Planning A Covid-Safe Staycation

We all have cabin fever by now, and with a vaccines finally being distributed, it's finally time to safely plan a staycation. 

No matter where you live, finding a fun hideaway in your own area can be easy and safe. 

Start with choosing dates that fit with your schedule. 

Next, think about the things that are important in a getaway for you. are you looking for some outdoor time, an all inclusive spot?  Is water important? 
Once you decide your priorities, check on VRBO and AirBnB for places that are marked "safe" with thorough cleaning procedures that fit your wishes. 

When packing, be sure to include masks, touchless door holders (like this one!) and sanitizer/spray. 

Once you arrive, ensure that you wipe/spray surfaces and social distance if there are nearby fellow visitors. 

Bring things like board games and cards, and plan on spending lots of time just soaking up small, ordinary moments in a new space.
