MEMEENO Supports Organizations For Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness Month

3 min read

MEMEENO support Miracle Babies, Red White Babies

According to March of Dimes, 15% of babies born each year are admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). NICU caters to all babies that are severely ill or those who need intensive care and monitoring. The most common cases inside the NICU are Premature babies or those born less than 37 weeks as they cannot fully adapt to the external environment.

Every September, Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness Month is celebrated to honor NICU babies, parents, and nurses. It raises awareness about the challenges faced by NICU patients and their families. This year, we are excited to support Miracle Babies and as well as our new partner, Red, White, and Babies, Inc.

MEMEENO Founder, Alie Al-Jadda, was a NICU mom when her premie daughter was born at 32 weeks. She understands how parents can be overwhelmed caring for a newborn, a premie, or a sick baby. Alie wants to contribute and help more moms and dads to soothe and comfort their babies in the most natural way. We salute both of these organizations for being selfless in helping Military moms and dads and the parents of the NICU.

About MEMEENO

MEMEENO is a luxury baby essentials brand in southern California, founded and operated by a mom. This company aims to create excellent, safe products that will help snuggle, soothe and calm babies in a safe, stylish, and effective way. Their signature product, the "Baby Belly Band," is an accessory designed to warm and protect the baby's tummy. Its secondary benefits helped countless parents treat gas, fussiness, colic, and constipation. The bands are available in different stylish designs that can be matched with their swaddles and baby hats. Not only that, they also launched a SPA collection that is all-natural, gentle, and safe for babies and their families.

MEMEENO also aims to give back to the community by giving a portion of its sales to the GiveLight Foundation, creating loving homes and schools for orphaned children worldwide. And by donating baby belly bands to different non-profit organizations.

About Miracle Babies

Miracle Babies' mission is to unite families with their critically ill newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and to reduce NICU admissions through prevention, education and research. They provides direct and supportive services like the Transportation Assistance Program, Miracle Hours, and MB Cares Bags. They believe that with the family present in the NICU the babies’ stress will be reduced, it will promote breastfeeding and kangaroo care, therefore may result to better health outcomes and fast recovery. MEMEENO will donate belly bands to be included to MB care bags and be distributed to hospitals in Orange County.

About Red, White & Babies, Inc.

Red, White & Babies, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides baby showers for our American Heroes from the military and first responders. It was started in April 2013 by an Army wife, Melissa Revel. Her husband was deployed most of her pregnancy and she felt the need for support and reached out to other mommas who are in the same situation. This inspired her to help other military moms and led her to organize baby shower events for the said families. Red, White & Babies, Inc. partners with different sponsors and gives away baby items during their Baby Shower Events. Their goal is to show appreciation to the expectant families of those who willingly serve and sacrifice for our country.

Let's support them

Let us support our fellow parents who undergo difficulties through these organizations. We can willingly donate or, if not share their missions and goals to inspire other people. We are not only helping the parents overcome their hardships, but we are also helping the lives of their sweet little bundles of joy.
